Ross Bendixen
Ross Bendixen has been making sculptures for over 30 years.  He is self-taught and has developed his style and perfected his craft. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest on Lake Sammamish, Ross learned to appreciate the beauty of his surroundings and was especially affected by the presence of the lake. This influence is apparent in his sculptures, which depict scenes of lakes, mountains, trees, marine life and abstract designs. Steel and bronze are cut and joined, colored and textured with grinding, overlaying and heat-treating. Clear acrylic finishing spray is applied to hold the finish and prevent rusting. Ross has a style that is uniquely his own and through his work he is able to exemplify the beauty of his native Northwest.
